Tu B'Shvat is a joyous holiday with many varied traditions surrounding it. This year, Melton is proud to welcome award-winning journalist Rahel Musleah to teach us about Indian-Jewish customs around Tu B’Shvat. In this one-time offering, Rahel will teach about the mystical “Tob Shevat” seder based on the kabbalistic book Pri Etz Hadar and about the malida, a ritual of thanks unique to the Bene Israel community of India held on Tu B'Shvat and other occasions.
