Sibling dynamics can be challenging. Nowhere is that clearer than in the Bible. In this class we will take a close look at story of Cain and Abel - the Bible’s first and quite extreme example of sibling rivalry. We will discuss the differences between Cain and Abel and what really led to Abel's murder. Finally, we will look at this case study of sibling rivalry through the lens of classical and modern Bible commentaries, using it as a launching point to explore similar relationships throughout the Bible. Adding our own insights and experiences, we will consider how the lessons from these stories apply to our lives.
